Hello All,

I was thinking about a way to take a few pictures from the brand new VSA 7.1 system were you could see all speakers in a true surround position. Our Studio is dark inside with no windows. No lens could catch all speakers in a right position. Now what to do?
It was nice weather and a friend of mine dropped in and asked me out to a Golf course nearby.

That was a nice place to take this picture came up in my mind.
So I packed all the gear into the truck, took my camera and found a nice place for the system on the Golf course.

Why not? The system sounds like nature now it was placed in real nature. Now we have a nice view on the whole system.
Lots of curious eyes stopped for a while as you can imagine. We promised the Golf manager to give a surround demonstration at the Golf club this winter. A 360 degree HD video film is nearly finished to be published on you tube.

Well, we have a nice summers last years.
Sometimes a bit of rain that keeps the greens green.

The Shockwave has a 12" Jack.

We tryed to mesure with the ARC, but the wind blew the reflections in the right direction already. This space is huge.

Hi Cor.

Yes I had an incident with my D2v that made me have to return the unit to the factory. I will not get into detail until i know for sure what caused the incident.

But until the incident I had good experience with the ARC and the processor alone. Though I am not sure if i will use the ARC for music listening, but for movie there is no substitute. Very well face intergration and overall frq equivilant between all channels.

Hello Ambiance,

Hope your D2v will return soon.

Our experience is almost the same. The ARC is making a very good 'overall' integration.
For music it depends of the recording how to use the ARC or not.
