F/S: Reponse Audio Bella Extreme 60 Monoblocks

I cant believe these are still around. If I didn't have so much invested in our other company right now, I would buy them back. I really do miss the 6C33 sound and I like to have various amplifier options on hand for testing.

I'm a little confused myself--even though I'm enjoying their sound everyday. V-caps, Sonicap platinums, sweet tube sound, what more could anyone want?

Maybe you want to you want to work out a trade for a preamp?

I am curious as to what that sound is. I am thinking of buying some tube amps but I am unfamiliar with what particular tubes sound like what. Meaning, what are the characteristics of these particular tubes and what about other tubes? Care to enlighten me? It would help. By the way, these would be driving Salk ST RTs and then in the future, HT2-TLs.

Some tubes tend to sound mushy overly euphoric with a emphasis on the midrange. In fact, the sound of tube amps is all over the place--bright dark etc. I'd say the 60's I'm selling are a more linear/accurate sounding tube amp with the great natural sound tubes give to vocals. I'm not sure how they'd mate with the Salks but they're a great match with my Revelations. Maybe some Salk owners have an idea on a good match.

Does it matter the impedance of the speakers for these amps? My current speakers are 4 ohm min and 6 ohm nom while their sensitivity is at 88db.

the amps have 4 ohm and 8 ohm taps. Should have more than enough power.
