WTB: Denon AH-D7000 or D2000 headphones
« on: 3 Aug 2010, 03:10 am »
I am looking for the following:

1. a good condition pair of the Denon AH-D7000 headphones. including the original packaging. They can be modified, but I would want to know exactly what the modifications are.

2. a fair condition pair of Denon AH-D2000 headphones. Not worried if there are issues with the cable or scratches on the cups, as long as the headband, yoke and drivers are all in good condition. I want to use these as a basis for modding

Must be willing to ship to Sydney, Australia

PM me if you are interested in selling a pair, and we can discuss price, photos, payment etc.

Thanks in advance

Why do you want the 600 ohm version of the DT-700? (Just curious)

Why do you want the 600 ohm version of the DT-700? (Just curious)

From a lot of reading on various forums (fora?), I believe the DT770 600 ohm version will be the best match for a closed headphone on my Decware CSP-2+ headamp. The higher impedance works better with OTL tube amps.

However, you have reminded me - I just managed to get a set of these. Now looking for D7000's or D2000's only

Thanks
