The guys at StereoTimes are pretty high on the little Flying Mole Digital amps:  check out the review here- http://www.stereotimes.com/

I'm not sure where you could actually buy these little amps, but the MSRP is pretty appealing.

As with all digital amp reviews I've read, these amps will require some serious gear matching... speakers especially.
As the first review put it: (sic)sounds great.... "WITH THE RIGHT LOUDSPEAKERS"

I have been looking around at Class D amps as well. The best value one I could find so far is the Zap Pulse. It has also just been reviewed, that is also worth checking out.

If you check out vmps forum I posted about flying mole after CES. They are beatiful in design.

There are no dealers as of yet but I have all the contact information if you are serious and also have pricing.

err.....I was talking about the dpa-m1616 on their site as being beatiful!!! the other is just a small black box. In their demor room the sound was very good with "spherical " speakers.

Larry,

What's the DPA-M1616 go for?

I've no interest in little monoblocks. But a 7 channel amp might be nice. That is if you can get the M1616 with fewer than 16 channels of amplification.

:rotflmao:  :shake: I've already got too much headroom as it is. I don't need another 3dB from biamping...

I thought of the biamping also!!

When I talked with the designer they were pushing whole house audio including the home theater/music room.!!!

You can stack them and they had 4 rows of these running. They were very "cool" to the touch.

I asked if they would come out with one that did not have soooooo many slots but as right now they are not.

Cool idea though.

bubba,

My M&K brother....

You can get them with less then 16. You would have blanks filling the holes . Sorta like a computer.

If interested I can check the dealer list I have for pricing but now ...gotta get my son from a 5y/o party.

PM me if interested

 Are you just not supposed to say anything about the cost?

And I don't think I'd mind the blanks that much if I only had 4 modules. Might even look ok if you spread the blanks out between amp modules.

And I still want some better M&K's some day. Would love to step up the line and get the SS-150's for the rear array & S-150's across the front...

bubba,

when I get my kids out of the bath later I will give you pricing. but it is alittle confusing.

Why wait for the M&K's(I sold my 150's), I am a certified reseller for www.abtelectronics.com and can have them delivered with no shipping or taxes to your house.

Larry,

Appreciate the pricing info on the M1616. New amps aren't on the top of my list, but I'm always planning ahead on upgrades. So knowing about things ahead of time is good.

And I remember you sold your 150's, but you've still got your 85's, right?

New speaks also aren't on the top of the list, but they're up there...

bubba,scotty,

Here you go:

DPA-M1616 CASCADE (160/4OHM X 16CH $5,599

POWER CONTROL CENTER-DPA-M1600$799

DIGITAL POWER AMP UNIT-DPA-MP16U2(160W/4X2CH)-$600

DIGITAL POWER AMP UNIT DPA-M30UL(300/8OHMX1CH)-$600

DIGITAL POWER AMP-(MONAURAL)-DAD-M1OOPRO (160/4OHM X1CH)-$349

DIGITAL POWER AMP(MONAURAL,AC/DC HYBRID)-DAD-M100DC (160/4 4OHM X 1 CH -$499

Most can be had for 15% off this price.

NOTE: I am not a dealer yet but was offered it. I do not need this product but could help  slightly better pricing to put in an order to become one.

I am  actually really excited about another company that has sent products for review. Not digital though but HI-FI and home theater by a hi-end company for unreal prices!!
