I have a little over 2000 CDs and probably at least 300 dvds (maybe two dozen bluray)
and I am thinking of throwing a garage sale.

$2 per disk for CD and DVDs and $5 per bluray disk

a fair amount of CDs and DVDs no longer have their original boxes since I put them in softcases so I'd be willing to sell those for $1 per disk

any interest in this?

as far as CD titles go. geesh I'd be writing for a week...

Very little metal, though a fair amount of 80's punk/hardcore...stuff like The Melvins, Helmet
A little grundge Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, etc..
The majority is Jazz...Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, Wayne Shorter, etc... hundreds of disks along those lines.

Alot of Blues including most Alligator Records, Fat Possum and Blind Pig Anniversary compilations.

Fair bit of classical to include some of the biggie operas

I'll start typing up a list for distribution.

no I didn't keep the inserts either.  all have been stored in soft bound catalogs and kept out of the sun.  All are in excellent to very good condition at worst

I dragged a couple of my library volumes to my computer and right now, as my collection is rather diverse and sometimes esoteric, I'm not too keen on typing all these titles into excel just to sell maybe 50-100 disks. so I've go to rethink the "garage sale" approach or maybe haul everything to a meeting and let folks sort through at their own pace.
