This may be too small for your application but I have read a couple of positive mentions of this unit here on AC. I seem to recall Laura (Vinyl Lady 1) and jwtrace(?) mentioning how good this unit is.

I own one of the earlier models. Sound quality is fine for what it is, but you need to be extremely carefully while handling the unit....if it falls or it hits a hard surface, you will crumple the metal grill easily...and everything will sound distorted, which has to do with the function of the neo drivers being spherical, with a hair breath space of the grill....The disassembly of the unit is tough as they have put some sort of glue that makes it a dog to dislodge the screws.
All being said, perhaps it would be better to have a conventional, efficient speaker+ affordable amplification.
