You looking to be "complete" Larry? Is this company a Jerry Maguire sequel or what? No answers, just more questions. Regards, Robin

Hi Larry, I have an AR Pre-5.  It is a two channel pre with a 5.1 analogue in.  I had it when I auditioned the IRD Purist.  In short, the Purist was better in two channel mode but the AR sounds better than a couple HT receivers I have used for Hi Rez.  It has a nice remote, solid construction and looks pretty good.  I have not heard any of their amps.  And as you probably know, it is made by a "higher" end company, YBA.

Satfrat,

That's what happens when you have kids!!!

MaxCast,

Thanks.

There is a company coming out soon that is using the similar Denmark innards per se under a new name. They have 5.1 and 7.1 and various preamps and amps all for a great price point. So it is interesting to me.  I was asked to demo the gear when it comes out. I think it is being sent out for reviews now.

The company name is Sound Philosophy. I saw thier demo's(unplugged) and they look very nice. They were just prototype's at the time.

Thanks,

Larry
