Music Reference RM5 MKIII Tube Preamp.  Well cared for, has been in storage for 6-7 yrs!  Amazing killer phono stage!  2 sets of outputs (Bi-amp ready).  No manual (but available from Ram Labs).  Conservatively rated 6-7/good/v good condition.  Mates beautifully with Music Reference amps (I own a RM9, I know what I'm talking about).  Very detailed and neutral preamp.  Adjustable gain stage will match most amps.  At this price an absolute giant-killer!  Of course will include 3 6922's.  I went with separate Audio Research pre/phono, spent 3-4 times the cost to get comparable sound quality (but hey, I got a remote).  Always wanted to keep in reserve but figured it's time to clr out the spares closet!

I'm in S. FL.  Shippg paid by buyer so it's yr preference.  Don't have original box but will pack securely.  USPS Money order only.

This is a good deal for someone. As an owner of the same preamp, I'd say it's well worth buying just for the phono stage alone if you have the room for it on your rack. I use it as a phono pre through the tape out jacks. I can't imagine another $500 phono preamp (assuming 36 db. of gain is adequate) that would touch it.

FYI, As far as the gain's concerned, I was running a low-output Ortofon Kontrapunkt B, and the MKIII sang like an angel!  Really is a terrific unit.
