I am a total newbie at putting kits together. How hard is this likely to be? I have heard good things about this DAC so it is very tempting but unsure if I have the skills to do this.

Thanks Phil. I saw those already. Been a while since I worked with circuit diagrams and have never soldered on pcb's - hence the hesitation. 

Do I need anything more than what the OP is selling for a functional DAC? I presume I can do without the volume control (volumite) do I need the IVY?
