What music do you listen to when your hungover?

OK, it's Sunday morning and you had a few too many the night before.

You roll out of bed between 10:00 AM and noon.  What's the first CD/LP you put on?

For me, it's America - Hearts     the one with Sister Goldenhair among other great songs.

What do you reach for?

I like Getz Samba music... it's pretty light.  It has to have a light beat.  Anything that has a lot of the same sounds that flow into each other annoys me equally as much as loud, splashy music.

There's alway 'Music for the Morning After' by Pete Yorn... but, I haven't found it to actually work out as the title suggests...  maybe others do, though.

I listen to the sound of more scotch hitting my glass.  Then put on some Nine Inch Nails.  Why feel bad when you can feel TERRIBLE?  :banghead:

Hmmm.... Good topic. And lately timely!

Gregorian Chant
Steve Roach or some kind of ambient.

When I am hung over anything with words just makes me confused.

Ah, now to finish off that 12 year McCallans.

Best,
Bill

Ah yes, Good old Gordon and the Edmund Fitzgerald.

How about Gordon Lightfoot in a celebrity death match with that lame guy from America (see post above) who sang about Sister Goldenhair Surprise?

ANYBODY who could come up with Muskrat Love, Sister Goldenhair, and Baby Imma Want You deserves a good ass-kickin'

YEP!!
that's what it's all about. Stay away from anything too nailed down because I have enough going on in my head (mostly pain related, but inherently is stimulation overload) and don't need to think about ANYTHING AT ALL. I, for the most part will go outside and listen to the birds or feed and watch the koi, gaze at my view of the city...as long as it's not winter of course..though we get cool birds passing through in the winter, they don't talk much. The spring, summer, fall months are great for that though. Anyway, now I can get back to business and tend to some champagne I have neglected in the fridge for the past month.
