Demo Sale - Demo & used Bybees, cables, etc.

- I have a small collection of Plug & Play RCA adaptors with the Original Bybees inside, $75 each (MSRP $135).

- Also a few Bybee Inside power cords at a great price, $199 each (MSRP $399)

- 8' pair of speaker cables for $50 per pair. I'm doing this to get some feedback on them.  They sound very good in my system, but I want a broader sampling of systems.  Details on the web site.

Cheers!

Hi Mike,
I would like to try out your Silver plated speaker cable. What size of spades connectors does it include?

Thanks,
F-100

Right now, I am using some AudioQuest 1/4 inch spades, but am expecting delivery of some Luminous Audio 5/16 spades mid next week.

I'll volunteer to beta test the SC...

What I really want to know is if your Demo Sale includes that "special" IC?

Hey Mad DOg,

I had planned on sending you a pair .  Still can't have that IC...yet.

Give me until the end of the week to get the speaker cables together.

MadDog,
If you want that IC badly, why don't you let Benjamin Franklin have a talk with Mike. I'm sure he will change his mind quickly.

The IC is still in "prototype" and not all of the technology involved in developing it has been declassified.  I could sell it to you, but then I'd have to kill you....

But seriously, I am not ready to put it into production.

FWIW, I really like the Luminous Audio spades.  I bought a bunch back when and have been loving them ever since.

Mike;
Will you sell the wire in bulk so that I can terminate them myself? I wouldn't mind trying something different in my system and would like to make a 10' bi-wire pair.

Sure I will sell it in bulk.  Less work for me!

If you are going to make a biwire set, I recommend three conductors each (3+ & 3-) for each bass wire, and two conductors each for the mid/treb wires.

I made some three conductor cable yesterday afternoon and put it on the lower half of my speakers (11" focal drivers driven with 350 watts).  Slammin'  and extremely articulate bass after about 2-3 hours of playing time.  This is the best my bass drivers have EVER sounded. :o  :o

Oh, the price.  75 cents a foot.  You will need 200 feet for a 10' pair of biwire using the formula above.

My speaks are 2.5 way, so one set of binding posts goes to the 2 mid/bass drivers and the other to the tweets. Would you still recommend 3 conductors per + and - for the mid/bass?  By the way, what material is used for the insulation of the wire?

I' m not sure if you need the 3rd conductor or not in your case.  As far as insulation, it is a PTFE (Teflon) insulated wire.
