Gilmour, Waters. . .and The Wall
« on: 15 Jul 2010, 04:34 pm »
Well, you may or may not know this, but Gilmour and Waters did a mini-concert for a charity event this past Sunday.  Here are some pics of the event: http://www.pollysamson.com/gallery_hoping.htm :thumb:

According to a post by Roger Water on his official Facebook page, Gilmour is going to join Waters for one of his upcoming shows on The Wall tour, and play Comfortably Numb! :hyper:

Hell is at about 33 degrees right now. . .

These guys should just stop screwing around and get back together for a blow-out Floyd concert.  I have seen both separately and would love to see them where they belong, as Pink Floyd.

It would be great if they would tour and highlight albums I really love like Wish You Were Here, Animals, etc.  I would camp in line to see those shows!

Thanks for the news!

I have killer tickets for "The Wall" in December. May the gods of music shine Gilmore on that show. There must be something brewing there if they did that benefit. Please oh please!

I was debating selling the pre sale lottery tickets I got. Ended up with 16th row on the left/center side of the floor. On the ticket broker sites, those tix are at $500-$600 each. Even ticketmaster is selling worse seats as "premium" around $4xx I think. I would have to get them and deliver at the venue though. With the possibility of Gilmoure joining, pretty sure I'll keep them. Unless they go to something crazy priced.

I got pretty much the exact same spot for the KC show, row 16, but on the right side.  Regardless of Gilmour joining or not, there's no way in hell I'm selling my tickets.

WOW Thanks for posting this Paul.

Pigs are starting to sprout wings again. Too bad this didn't happen before Richard passed on.

Row 18 at the Tacoma Dome December 11

It may be that this is only possible because Richard has passed on.

You know, like, it is a dead issue whether David wanted him and Roger didn't.   :dunno:

There may be some truth to this.

Best guess at the most likely show that Gilmour makes an apearance? DC, MSG, maybe LA..

Agreed.

One of the reasons to own the Live 8 DVD (2005) is it is the last time Pink Floyd played together and the only time since they broke up (Breathe, Money, Wish You Were Here & Comfortably Numb).
