In case anyone is interested, Walmart has rolled back the prices on two Magnavox DVRs. I just ordered the 320GB version. I am addicted to watching TV when I want to, not when the programs are aired. I currently use a Philips 2160 (discontinued) connected to an antenna and it does a good job recording albeit with a clunky interface. Panasonic was king but they abdicated the throne.
Not advocating Wallyworld so save the mud slinging. It is a sad fact the Magnavox DVRs appear to be the last non-subscription hard drive recorders standing and Wallyworld is the only place I know to buy them.
