WTB: Audiophile-rated USB Cable 10m or 30ft

I don't believe you will find a USB cable that is 10m long. Approximately 4 meters is the longest recommended cable. It sounds like you may want to get into networking to try and solve the problem or just move the two devices closer together.

5M is the longest allowed by the spec.

Check into an Opticis system.

I have successfully used a 5M active extension to make a 10M run. I have changed my wiring so the HagUSB is in the middle between a 5M USB and 5M Blue Jean Cable SPDIF cable but I never heard a difference between the two configurations.

Monoprice has the extension cable I used.

Although I'm not a big proponent of "audiophile-rated" USB cables, I can't really see the logic of using one in conjunction with a generic active extension cable.

I think the standard (non-active) 5M USB cable was from monoprice too.

I'm with you.  I just meant that for the OP, using the Monoprice active extension with an "audiophile" USB cable would seem to negate any "advantages" of the high-priced cable.
