BR2 REMOTE

Hi James,
           I proably already know the answer to my own question,but i will post it anyway just to be 100% sure.I have 2 BR2 remotes,but only use 1................should i take the batteries out of the BR2 i dont use?Or does it make a diff?

No battery use so you can leave them in.

Bought a BDC-1(came with Remote) and bought a BP26(Also came with Remote)

Isn't there a chance of the batteries leaking and ruining the remote?
