Wanted to see this because of the cast. Richard Gere in an Antoine Fuqua flick? Plus Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle and Wesley Snipes. And because it was a cop movie. Fuqua directed Harvey Keitel in The Bad Lieutenant. I gotta lot of respect for that movie.
This may be the darkest/ugliest movie I have ever seen. There is not a glimmer of hope in this. It's a dire, grim, bottomless pit of a movie. Good luck.
