Need new tube for Opera Reference 2.2

It's time to replace the tube in the output stage of my CD player. It still has the original stock Sovtek 6H30.

I hear the Electro Harmonix is a nice step up.

What are some reasonable priced, but better replacement recommendations?

Never mind.

I just found out that all 6H30 come out of the same factory. The EH is the same tube as the Sovtek.

Depends on what lavor you want. Warm ,neutral, bright. Why not ask Rachel ar Grant Fidelity, they carry Opera as well as tube manfs. Rachel is a doll, she will help you.
