Adding a dac.

Hi Guys,
        First post i have a Bryston 4B sst and a BP 20 pre amp into Audiovector MI3 speakers,i am thinking of adding a dac,would i be better getting a BP26/dac or the BDA-1 standalone dac,grateful for any thoughts advice.

Simple answer: BDA-1 Standalone DAC.

the BDA-1 is the way to go!

advantages:

- 8 inputs including USB and AES/EBU
- "understands" 192/24 (USB is 16 bit 32K, 48K)
- can be used with a remote
- upsampling can be engaged
- the internal DAC of the preamp is around half the costs of a BDA-1 but you "only" get 2 inputs
