Possible to adjust balance on uDac when connected to OS X?

Possible to adjust balance on uDac when connected to OS X?

I was just wondering if the "balance" parameter still shows up in the Sound control panel on OS X when the uDac is connected?

If possible, could someone post a screen shot of the Sound system preference when uDac is connected?

The balance and volume settings are available in the Sound prefpane but, unlike the DAC built into the Icon, they do not have any effect on my machine when hooked up to the uDac.  Running OSX 10.6.4.
