about 300 LPs, about 400 CD's (many are re-releases of the LPs): about 50 LPs digitized on Music Server.

About 90% Flac, 10% mp3 ripped to HD, where it is over 7000 songs and takes up about 150 GB

I listen to everything, as I listen mostly in "Random" mode from the server. When Random brings up something I'm not in the mood for I skip it, when it brings up something that hits the spot, I often switch and listen to the whole album in question. The convenience of the music server has definitely led to my listening to more music (quantity) and more of my collection than I did before I had the server.

Large enough where I don't like moving.  There's probably another 300 CD-Rs not pictured.
The albums appear to be multiplying since I took this picture.
As to cost, I have no idea.  25% of the artists get 75% of the playing time.

About 600ish CDs and about the same in LPs. Less than 50 hi-res downloads. And yes, I have my favorites.
