Thats interesting V, but what do you think the cap would be for each component in your own personal room ?

From my own experience, his estimates seems realistic. Speakers are very important and (unfortunately) my experience is that the best are  expensive (or more fortunately: You can gain a lot by paying a lot).

The room itself is also very important. I think for instance that the JBL Everest DD66000 would like a very big room. Diffusion and absorption is also important. Even rather small speakers (as for instance B&W Nautilus 804) will benefit from a big and 'well done' room.

Spending more for speakers doesn't always get you the best results, it's the synergy between components that important.

That said, the best speakers around aren't cheap.  8)
