Been trying to preorder mine today and the Apple website keeps freaking out on me.  Anyone get through?

I've tried upgrading through my att wireless account and it spit out an error. I've read various stories about there being registration server issues, which I believe has happened at previous iphone launches as well.

Personally I'm not in any rush as I see that the white one isn't available for preorder at this time and I wanted that color.

I was thinking the same thing, but not knowing when the white one will be released is a huge bummer.

Still no love and I have to order 2 of these things.

I went straight to the local AT&T store and ordered mine with only a 20 minute wait! while I was there, I noticed other people stopping in after no luck online.

The rush has died down at the Apple website, I was able to snag mine after failing the entire day.

Got mine around 7 pm. I did spend about 2 hours this morning though with no luck.

My wife pre-ordered one for me this morning on Apple's site.  Still no confirmation e-mail...

I tried for about an hour early this morning (PST) with no luck on ATT or Apple site.  Tried again at lunch and made it all the way to the the confirmation screen on the ATT site before locking up.  I finally got it ordered via ATT early this afternoon.  Now I just gotta wait and see if I actually get it on or near launch day.  Just glad I'm not messing with it any more.  A friend of mine was able to select in store pick up and he took it.  NO WAY am I screwing with lines.

Apple is known to deliver there products before the actual date its supposed to arrive.  So Im hoping a couple days earlier. Im stoked, I have the original iPhone which I bought on one of the first days and finally felt this was def worth the upgrade! Cant wait!

Finally got mine ordered around 4 pm mtn. Then tried immediately to order my wifes and it took almost until 6 pm to get it done. What a pain, but its done now only need the confirmation email of hers and we are good to go.

Hearing on a lot of tech blogs that people are reporting some major security breeches like getting someone elses info when typing in their own.

I must admit that my interest has risen. I still think I will stick with my Blackberry for the time being through until I hear about battery life, e-mail issues, dropped call issues, etc. I'm not in it for the browsing or the games, so all in all the BB may just be staying in my pocket for a while.

Just checked my order status with AT&T and it looks like it'll be delivered tomorrow, a day early. Perused the web and found that they're splitting the shipments between tomorrow and Thursday to alleviate the registration load.
