Long story, but I ended up with a small lot of these (and the new GL 6922) when I placed a large order for a buddy of mine (and a quad for myself). I'd rather not send them back as they are very promising. Cost is $70/pair shipped for either type, and the 12AX7 test very strong as you can see (on the Amplitrex AT1000).

I have a pair of the 12AX7's that I received from Jon. Been out of town, so have only listened for a couple of hours, but I think these are REALLY promising!  I'll be interested in what others think and also if these 'burn in' and change with more hours.
