Had been a long time fan of Nikon while shooting with Minolta X370. Funnily I ends up with a Canon 5D Mkiii and had a blast shooting at Banff last June.  :)

Cool picture but it's scary

It invokes an inner peace for me and feels extremely comforting, perhaps even nurturing - it is as if if the clouds are suffocating the sky.

Be well...

It is a small world isn't it, What we all have in common! Brystons, bikes and now cameras. I still have my Minolta x370 safely hidden away upstairs, I have had it over 30 years. In the UK they were called the x300, mine was unusual as it is an x370 as I bought it during the school holidays when I went to visit my Dad who was stationed in Quantico with the USMC. I now use a Nikon D5100....

Great picture BTW.  :thumb:

Cheers

Yah, they don't make camara like they used to anymore. Camara were made to pass down from father to son like hifi, speakers and electronics. These days everything has a high tech name to it but never last as long and even a bike like Cervelo are made in China! LOL

All said it's the experience that counts...the sound, the pictures, the wind, and the memories. I just did 20km today and taught my bro in law how to click in and out with cleats...lots of fun especially when he fall all over at stationary  :duh:

Glad you folks like the pic  :)

Hi all Audio Circle members.
I wonder if this box is for me?
My name is not on it.
8553

I wonder what’s in it?
8554

Only one way to find out.
8556

That’s not for me; anyway it’s too small to wear it?
8560

Gerber baby food, that’s still not for me,
But haaaaa… Cheerios, that’s for me.
No sugar, that’s good for type 2 diabetes like me.
8562

8563
Wow, that’s for me, for sure.
Heavy duty vinyl inserts from Sleeve City.

Double Wow.
Omega 7F extended range driver.
I can sure use it, but I need two?
8564

WOW. I have two, for stereo listening.
Thanks to Louis.
Now I have to get my jigsaw out of the toolbox
and get some MDF cut.
That will take a few days, therefore, stay tuned, listening impressions will come soon.
8565

Some N.O.S. tubes for my tube stuff.
(See my comments on the topic:
Let’s see your tubes.)
8566

That’s something I been waiting for a long time.
A Grace Mondo table Internet radio.
As soon as it is set up, I will be connected with the world,
no more of those boring Vietnamese FM stations
where they talk too much and music sounds like one note bass.
8567

At last, at long, long last.
My Rythmik plate amplifier.
I sent it to Rythmik USA for repair,
but Brian told me that it had no problem.
Draken double drak, so, I paid 350 USD of transport for nothing.
Thanks to Ruben from Out of the woods for helping me for to several months of free storage at his place.
This unit will find its way into the Rythmik F12B subwoofer,
then I will have two units that I will use.

8568

All the above purchases via Amazon were sent to my wife’s nephew in Seattle for consolidation, and then a friend of a friend brought it with her to Vietnam.
Thanks to every one, even if they don’t access Audio Circle forum
to read this.
I now have something interesting to do for the remaining of the vacation of the Lunar New Year.
Comments will follow as each of my items will get installed.
That was my Christmas gift to myself or should I say: This is my birthday gift to myself.
I will be 66 in one week.

CONTAX IIIa take very nice pictures too.

I used it since the 1980s.

Hi alexone and all Audio Circle members.
Are all those stacked boxes in your avatar give away for poor audiophiles,
because I am officially a poor audiophile.

A great week on the statue collection front, Hellboy and Captain America statues enter the Laundrew household. Hellboy "fits" into my Xanadu while the good Captain will eventually end up on display in the TV room.

Hi all,
time fly so fast, look like it was yesterday when I posted the above.
In less than a month I will be one year older,
I will be 67 years old or young depending of how I feel physically and mentally.
My latest acquisition was about 6 months ago
and it was a ProJect Phono Box DC phono stage amplifier.

Guy 13
By the way, it's been almost a year now since I've started
to use my Omega 7F drivers and I am still extremely satisfied of my purchase,
one of my best purchase in my whole life of audiophile
and would recommend Omega products to anyone who want super good sound.

Guy 13 on planet Vietnam.
