Here is a pick of my Garage  :thumb: I can Share Buddy

This brings back pleasant memories as Laundrew once had piles of cash such as this. Sadly it is all long gone now as it was very expensive operating and maintaining the dreaded automotive bane of the known universe - the Chrysler PT Cruiser. This photograph represents a years cost for gasoline.

Be well...

Greetings Guy 13  :D

No restoration as I do not like antiques to look "new"  just a very good cleaning.

A marked improvement from the previous audio stand - now to list the "audiophile" cinder blocks for sale as I hear they work exceptionally well when utilized in conjunction with wooden knobs.

Be well...
Hi Laundrew and all Audio Circle members.
Lots of room inside.
You will have to make some holes on the back for the wires.
Your acoustically solid cement blocks audio furniture look the same as my first real audio rack, except my blocks when a little smaller.
Most audiophiles using the cement block method always leave them un-painted, I think with some light pastel color is better, but that's me.
I hope one day to see that nice piece of furniture filled to the rim with nice audio components.

Hi larevoj and all Audio Circle members.
In what city exactly is it made and what's the complete name of the company/manufacturer?
If it's not too much to ask,
I would like to see more clearly the complete bicycle?
Long, long time ago I had one bicycle made in Vancouver,
I think the name was Mikasa or something that sounds like that.

hi Guy 13, it looks like an R-series Cervelo to me from that angle. When I am not listening to my Brystons I am often found on my bikes.....

Look here:

Hi Alpha10 and all Audio Circle members.
Thanks for the info, nice bike, however,
probably very expensive, maybe between 500 to 1,000 $
Before arriving in Vietnam, I also did lots of pedaling...
Here in Vietnam, unless you have suicidal behavior,
it's better not to go around the city by bicyle.

Hi PRELUDE and all Audio Circle members.
Like I said, I am not sure about the exact name, but one thing I know for sure, is that they did not stay in business for long, they went belly up long time ago.
However, my sister to whom I sold my bike still has it and use it.
More than 25 years ago, I've paid 500$ for it.
Thanks for the link, nice bikes.

Not even close! In the UK Cervelos start at around £2,000 and go up to around £15,000 an average/popular bike will be about £4000 on the road price!

Cycling is nearly as expensive a hobby as hifi these days.....

Cheers

Hi Alpha10 and all Audio Circle members.
What you are trying to tell me, is that cycling is a sport for financially wealthy people ?
I rater spend my hard earned money on hi-fi stuff and as far as exercise goes, I do 10 minutes everyday of running and stretching.
That's enough for me and probably more than many person of my age.

Hi Guy13, Alpha10 got that right! It's a Cervelo R5 and its a real nice ride  :thumb:

Still...only 10% contribute to the ride performance the rest is the rider

Hi larevoj and all Audio Circle members.
May I ask you what's the meaning of your nick name?
I'm always curious to know how the members create bizarre, difficult to remember  and original names.
For me comfort has always been a priority, even at the cost of an heavier bike,

Had been a long time fan of Nikon while shooting with Minolta X370. Funnily I ends up with a Canon 5D Mkiii and had a blast shooting at Banff last June.  :)

It is a small world isn't it, What we all have in common! Brystons, bikes and now cameras. I still have my Minolta x370 safely hidden away upstairs, I have had it over 30 years. In the UK they were called the x300, mine was unusual as it is an x370 as I bought it during the school holidays when I went to visit my Dad who was stationed in Quantico with the USMC. I now use a Nikon D5100....

Great picture BTW.  :thumb:
