looking for help Bryston 3b (Mr Tanner)
« on: 11 Jun 2010, 12:37 am »
Hello, first time here, well I just bought a original 3b fron E..Y , it replaced a NAD amp, but sadly I can't get no sound from it, the green lights come on and the fuses look good , I have it hooked up to a Marantz 7002 , wondering what the problem could be. One more thing when I shut down the amp I hear a thud coming from both of the speakers . Thanks

Hi,

Depending on the age it could be the RCA vs Balanced switch on the back.  It could be the gain controls if a pro unit.  Can you send me the serial number and some pictures of the front and back?
