I just got my eflyer from Music Direct, and they're accepting preorders for -"DIANA KRALL/THE GIRL IN THE OTHER ROOM". I guess on this one, DK writes many of the songs.
$9.99 from Amazon.
Yeah, I seem to be the only one I know who dislikes Norah Jones too.
Am I the only one in the world that thinks she doesn't sound good?
Well, BB has it for $10, but for now I've decided to pass- pretty much all of her more recent albums are out on DVD-A or SACD, and I really don't wanna buy it twice. I'll try to hold out for the DVD-A version.
Quote from: SmeggyActually there are vocalists that I like better...Agreed there are singers with better vocal ranges. What makes Krall unique IMHO, is her ability as a jazz musician. Listen to "Deed I Do" from the "Live in Paris" album. The girl can SWING! Elvis Costello fans might like "The Elvis Costello Songbook" by Bonnie Brett. Her cover of "B Movie" is spot on.
