Never heard of them either, but I see the show is sponsored by KSHE.
So it shoud be good, I listened to KSHE all the time in the late 70's & early 80's it was a killer station back than, (don't know about now).

Malcolm,  that's pretty funny.

Pete,  KSHE is still pretty good.  They play the old stuff mixed w/ new stuff.

Ditto.  The show originated from Adelade, it says, so maybe it was something that played the "provinces" (wow, that'll get me in trouble :D) and then went straight overseas.  They cetainly never played Sydney - I have an inner radar for anything Floyd and I've never heard of them.

Well, I'll let you know in a few weeks if they're any good.

Knowing the station that's putting it on and the forum, they will probably be good.

Well it look's like they will be here in Denver March 24, at the
Paramount Theatre. I might try to make it.

Check this out if you are in any doubt as to how good they are.

Pity I have just discovered they are in Chicago next week and I will be out of town.

Have these guys ever attempted their own songs?

It'd be cool to see a perfect Floyd cover band, but even cooler if they could actually write songs that felt and sounded like Floyd never broke up.

Gilmour's Floyd is too mainstream and he said he's not looking to do any more anyway.

Water's solo albums are much closer to his classic Floyd work, but his latest CD's been a looong time coming and he's pretty much lost his voice now-a-days IMO.

Anyone know any Floyd-like bands out there?

What a night, if you’re a fan of Pink Floyd and hoping that Floyd might tour again, don't hold your breath and go see this band you really need to check them out. All around a great performance, you had the voices of Waters & Gilmour right in front of you and the guitar/bass/sax playing was awesome to say the least.

For the money I got some great entertainment value. The weird part of the night
was having a beer with my 21 year old son at a concert :o .

It was an absolutely great concert, at a great venue.  Plus, free scotch to boot.     I love being friends w/ bartenders.
