I always wanted one of these.
It caught a lot of criticism for the questionable quality of the arm, and the high price.
But at the time, to be able to cue your tracks from your La-z-boy recliner, just seemed...right!

Can you imagine the NOS cost for the specific cartridge with the infared???

Once in a blue moon you'll see one of these on eBay. I have no interest in it other then for it's unique ability to select with the remote. The parent company of ADC was BSR McDonald, and I was just never impressed with any of their products, tho the ADC line was a much better product, IMHO.

All true, Wayner.  All true

Still miss my Perpetuum Ebner 2020, which was placed in a dealer's exclusive base, with my black and gold
Empire 1000 cartridge.  Hope the SOB who stole it never got to enjoy for long.
My base was much nicer than the one pictured below:

I own a Accutrac turntable. I bought it a few years back. I got one missing the remote control. I did get the orb receiver. I fiddled with it for a short period trying to get it to function properly and then it went in a closet. I probably should pass it on to someone who really is interested in these strange beasts.

And in my audio closet sits a BiC changer.
Just too happy with my DD to consider dusting it off and greasing the bearings.
Paid too much on ebay, too.
Chalk it up to nostalgia leanings... :duh:
