I got mine at Sears about 20 years ago and it's never given me any problems. I was told it's a Fluke knock-off but can't say for sure.
Want the real thing made in Germany?? Try this Fluke 87V, the only recommedded for the LAMM ML3 GM70 amp by Mr.Vladimir, just 429,95 complete setup at Amazon (one used for $350 very affordable )http://www.amazon.com/Fluke-87V-E2-Industrial-Electrician/dp/B000TKPRFO
Hey! Yeah, if you could afford to buy those LAMM than I don't think you will have problem affording the Fluke he recommended Take care,Buddy
I meant that it was very similar to a Fluke meter (not produced by Fluke, just modeled after the Flukes). The model number is Sears 82417.This one's not mine but is the same thing. What he's got plugged in the probe holes is anyone's guess.
Wow - thank you all for the wonderful suggestions!I probably will go on the cheap side since I will only use this multimeter for biasing my amp.
