Cool. I'd rather have the good performance, imo. However, I do appreciate good looking equipment. I'd say Bryston has a pretty good balance overall.

Ryanz, its a compact Canon PowerShot SD870IS camera with built-in lens and Macro function. These days basic camera comes with pretty good wide-angle/macro lens for quick portrait and close-up shots but for good close up shots you need a good tripod or VERY steady hands  :eyebrows: (not gonna work if you skipped your dosage of caffeine :lol: )

I would think its Stainless Steel...someone in this forum (read it somewhere and not sure who)  suggested to have it milled out from a solid piece of Aluminium. Which I thought is a pretty good idea because it will guide the button in/out smoothly and give a very solid feel to it. Not sure how it will enhance the entire ownership/potential reviewer experience or if the additional cost justify such an intangible benefit/s.   8)

That was me. Not sure what it is currently made of. On the black 4B it appears to be plastic with a metal-looking sticker on it. When I tap it with a nail it sounds like plastic.

any chance that if I ever sent it in for service it could be replaced with the exactly same part except without the white paint inside the grooves

or is there any way to remove that paint without damaging anything  :drool: :drool: :drool:
