The following speakers were purchased January 2002 from Flip’s. Used in main system until April 2005, then used as second zone speakers in home office (infrequent use). Replaced these a couple months ago. These speakers are awesome:
• Revel Performa M20 in Cherry. Includes stands and black grills. $1000. Price paid $2040.
The following pre-processor was purchased February 2005 from an out-of-town dealer, and placed into use April 2005. Unplugged and stored upon an upgrade in May 2008. Have been using past couple months as stereo preamplifier:
• Lexicon MC-8Bv2. $1900. Price paid $4999. If you are looking for incredible adjustability, top notch DSP processing (including Logic7 and Live) and don’t care about running HDMI into your processor, then this is a very high quality unit. Includes 2 Lexicon microphones for calibration or use with Live! mode ($450 retail).
• No amp for the Lexicon…I continue to use the Lexicon amp with my current MC12.
