FS: one Einstein Absolute Tune hybrid amp--a killer integrated and more powerful than its 50W/85W rating suggests. It is fanless, very quiet in operation, and is highly transparent. Check out the fabulous online reviews in 6moons (
http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/einstein/einstein.html) and Soundstage (
http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/einstein_absolute_tune.htm). Purchased ex-dem in 2007 and upgraded with Isoclean fuse, a matched quad of NOS Siemens E88CC tubes ($360) and Herbies' best Rx tube dampers ($100). This amp will come with a generic remote to control volume, a Grant Fidelity power cable (worth $185) and Audioquest right-angle adaptor, which enables any normal power cable to be used to be used as an alternative. It also comes with the original crate and outer boxing. You can see photos of the amp on my Agon ad:
http://cgi.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?intatran&1279588939&view&1275079790 The amp has just been professionally upgraded with brand new WBT topline speaker binding posts. This servicing also involved repairing several weak solder joints and extensively testing the amp. It is now in A1 condition and should not need any further attention for many years, but one speaker binding post remains very slightly crooked (see second photo on the Agon ad). This has no impact upon operation (this has been checked) and is not normally visible. Although this is only a minor cosmetic issue, I am pricing the amp lower to reflect this anomaly.
I am very reluctantly offering this wonderful amp for sale to help finance other projects. The current new is $12,100. I'm looking for
