Hey all,

 I am in need of a new gear rack. I was thinking of making a flexi rack but had a couple questions...

First off, is there an affordable option for a 3 shelf double wide I could entertain? I currently have some Salamander Synergy...

If I opt for a flexi, should I do hardwood or just MDF shelves? Is the added vibration control of hardwood that much better than MDF? I will be using some vibration control products as well (Herbie's)for each component...

Also, if I do a double wide flexi, should I do 6 legs or 5? 5 being 4 corners and only one in the center or go for 6, 4 corners and two in the center?

I built a quad wide low boy with no center posts, however, the amp has some support underneath.  Very easy.

  I have since removed the two cassette decks and eq (just checked to see if they worked).  I really should sell the wave-8s.
