Hello,
I have a few pairs of speakers with Merrill DCA5s. A mid-sized Onken, rear-ported BR mini-monitor and a rear-ported BR mid-sized monitor. I've had fun with them using tube and sand amps. My current fave amp is a 2w solid state with a choke-loaded JFET output.
How do the Alpair 12s sound ? I'm sure the drivers yield appreciable bass.
