Hello,
I'm new to the forum and have a PF C7. I have not used it since 1996. Cosmetically, it is in pristine condition. I have not plugged it in...don't want to cook anything. There is no serial number...the sticker came off in the '90's. I purchased it from a friend in 1982.
Before I go to E-Bay, I figured I'd start with people who know what the C7 is all about.

Jim, I really liked the C7. In 1982, it was the best that I could afford...a straight wire with a gain control. As far as I know, there is nothing wrong with the it. I don't have a turntable anymore...the ex got it (Rega Planar with a Grace 707). I got the C7 and the Acoustat TNT-200. Sad to say that I don't need these pieces anymore and would like to find a good home for them. And no, I'm not a broker, just an old audio tweek who's investing in making music rather than listening.

Wind Chaser, I did read the guidelines. If I made a faux pas, please forgive me. I would like to sell the C7 and seek a fair price. I don't know what the market price is. I've seen the range from $350 for a toasted unit up to $800 recently. I live near the San Francisco Bay area.

I welcome any advise or offers.

I owned this pre amp years ago and for the life of me can't remember ever having sold it.  It was in my system with Kenwood L07 monoblocks and Acoustat Three's.  I'll be cleaning out my garage soon and would love to find it hidden away.  That would make my day!  I'll swap it in if I do and give a listen.
