Both have been recapped and massaged by the loving hands of Terry Dewick and they sound incredible...I must admit I think its the best of the Pilot combos I have heard.
The 246B Integrated amp uses 7591 output tubes and about 6 12AX7's for preamp duties. Its a SS rectified unit.
The FA780 is a true stereo tuner, with perfect alignment and function.
They both come with the extremely hard to find Pilot original cabinets.
Having already a Pilot SA-264 (7591 ot as well), I rather sell them to get a Berning amplifier to match theBerning preamp.
