Making the leap into computer audio has changed my hobby.  I used to have to tweek and try this and that out.  I think I started to enjoy the tweeking more than the music.  Well Spatial Computer Audio has changed all that.  Now I just sit back and pull out my iphone remote and listen to music.  If there is an update Clayton will call and remote log in, and Bam its done while I am at my Kids practice.  The sound is just right on.  Why bother with any thing else.

Can you offer more details on your experience with this set up? What is the entire set-up you are using? What are the trade-offs with what you had previously?

setting the system up was unlike what I am used to.  First you have to allow access to your computer so they can down load the software and adjust the settings.  The other issue is it is hard to tweak. If you have a CD player you can put a damper on it or change the feet. With this it is what it is.  The sound was so rich and the sound stage depth just expanded by 5 feet.  I have a large room so I was able to bring the speakers out into it, which allowed the system to reach its full range.  The coolest thing is being able to just use your iphone and pull up all the music on your system. Because you cant make to many adjustments your mind just tells you to sit back and listen to what you have.

Sounds similar to the KRK Ergo or JBL LSR432P/632P studio monitors but with Spatial all of the adjustments are done in software.

I've been experimenting with a similar less integrated DIY software solution using IK Multimedia's ARC plug-in for room correction, and Pure Vinyl as the host application. I'm still figuring some things out, but I've been happy with the results so far.
