You cannot do better than this. It is the most refined, quiet, neutral yet musical sounding tube in this category.
Four months back I replaced my JJ 12AX7 with these and I was blown away by the ultra clean yet ultra smooth sonics of this tube. Recently I moved to a 6N2P based tube preamp so this has no usage at present. I bought it NOS, used it for about 200 hours, it still measures strong and will last for a long long time.
Frankly, I have not decided whether to sell it or keep it because it is an extremely rare variety. If I get the right offer, I may consider selling it else I would keep it.
I have two of these and they are matched pair. I am expecting $199 for the pair.
