I just bought this 15 inch, aluminum unibody Macbook Pro from it's original owner, who bought it brand new at a retail Apple Store in December 2009.

It is a wonderful machine, but I can't get used to the glossy screen and have decided to keep my 24 inch white iMac instead (matte s-IPS LCD)

It is in excellent condition, except for a few minor scuffs on bottom surface of laptop and includes original packaging and Snow Leopard and iLife 09 restore discs.

I agree the MacBook Pro is a great laptop.  Just an FYI...Apple Warranties ONLY applies to the original owner.  My MBP unibody has matte screen.  :thumb:

Always thought original Apple warranty was transferrable (?)

Did a google search for Apple Warranty Transferrable and found this:  http://forums.dealmac.com/read.php?4,2621131

+1 on applecare being transferable. I'm dumping my laptop for the same reason (preferring matte makes me feel old  )

Thanks for the links, but I like to run all my stuff stock just as manufacturer designed and built them.

My white iMac has a matte sIPS panel and I just bought an iPad, so I can't justify keeping all 3 items.
