Bach.
Hello Tyson,
Maybe you are unaware of this great offer from BIS Records:  http://www.sa-cd.net/showtitle/3072
This is a 5 SACDs box/20 hours of music, for around 30dollars, they are a Stereo only SACD set(no CD layer), recorded in PCM and upsampled before the SACD mastering, the BIS mike caption is very good as they are famous for.

The repertoire is the complete organ music from Bach, the Hans Fagius performance are straight, without affectations or French ornaments, as one would expect from a Scandinavian musician.
A must for audiophiles and organ fanatics.
Cheers, Gustavo

Eva Cassidy.  A voice from heaven...and it's an awful turn of events that she went back there so early.

There is no question in my mind that Eva Cassidy was the greatest female vocal talent to come on the music scene in the last 25 or so years.  She had amazing vocal range and a real gift for interpreting music.  I still quiver everytime I hear her fabulous reading of Autumn Leaves...and of course her performance of Cheek to Cheek at the Blues Alley in D.C. brought the house down.  It was tragic that cancer took her at such a young age, only 33 years old.  But what little recorded legacy she did leave behind is worthy of the praise and attention of anyone who professes a love for music.

I can't get enough of Victoria Legrand's voice from Beach House.  Her range isn't that extensive, but there's something about it that I can't stop listening to.

Has to be Annie Haslam from prog band Renaissance.

Her voice is so pure and technically great. Just so good. Her 5 octave range doesn't hurt either.

Lately I've been stuck on singer/songwriter/guitarist Patti Griffin.
