Dunno Dave, this was maaany years ago.... meanwhile Bryston was busy improving performance while Rotel was busy reducing manufacturing costs....

That's a great read, considering I have a 4B from '81. I just got a Superphon SP-100 pre for it, which was upgraded by Stan himself.

Next on my shopping list, a color tv.  :thumb:

Awesome, James. What was your reaction when you first read the review?

Back then a review in a magazine of this stature meant instant acceptance - went from about 30 amps a month production to about 100.
