Congratulations Jerry.  :thumb:  Yes, the Lakers will have the home field advantage and this will be the 3rd straight series that the Boston Celtics have not had the home field advantage. Should be an interesting Finals.  :D

Yep, and now we're down to a Best of Three series. :thumb:   Can one of these great teams win two in a row? It hasn't happened yet, but could be the determining factor.

Go Lakers,
Jerry

The Lakers first until seems to haev really trouble with opposing teams second unit.  That's been demonstrated in the Phoenix and Celtics series.  If Rivers is smart and the second unit is playing well I would ride that horse for a stretch at one or two more times in this series.  Seems to take the Lakers a quarter or so to make adjustments and Jackson like to let his lineups work through these periods.  The Celtics would be prime to haeva  huge momentum swing and possible build a lead suring these stretchs.  So far they haven't been able to match the intensity of the second unit.  Rivers could steal a game in LA if he plays his cards right.  No matter what The Celtics need to win game 5 because the Lakers can win two in a row and I'm sure will win game 6.

At at least once I would try playing Rondo and Robinson together and push the ball for a 3-4 minute stretch.  The Lakers will want to counter with putting Kobe in the post on the smaller guards but I'll take my chances there.  Or the Lakers would counter with Fisher and Brown in the back court and move Kobe to SF.  I think that uptempo errantic style with Rondo and Robinson would benefit the Celtics and take the Lakers out of their game once again.  The Celtics are too inconsistent while the Lakers more easily find their groove and the key is mixing things up to keep them off balance.  The Celtics play better off emotion, the Lakers off structure.  When the Lakers can just run their sets and coast the Celtics lose easy.  Gasol has no answer for the energy and fiestiness of Garnett, Big Baby or Rasheed and in turn they have no answer for Gasol's skill level and court IQ.  The Celtics have to make it a high energy, frantic, slugfest. I think it's basically Skill vs. Will.

Would it be legal for BB to wear a bib so he doesn't slobber all over the court when he gets excited.

Maybe instead of BB or Big Ticket Stub, he should be called Mad Baby.  :thumb:

I love his excitement, raw and uncensored.  That 2nd unit came play with a fire few can match, Lakers were overwhelmed by that energy.  Now what I want is for them to have the same energy and outbursts on the LA floor.  Though it probably might be deemed disrespectful by the opposing team.

Sunday's game will be the big one , The Celtics need to win Sunday's game to have a realistic chance to BEAT L.A. . It would be an almost impossible task for Boston to win 2 straight games in L.A. but 1 win is very doable,,, they've already done it!  :bounce:

The Celtics have pushed L.A. to the brink of elimination!  Now it's do-or-die for the Lakers:  Two games at home and they must win both.  Quite a series!
