Thought it would be fun to see what fellow AVAers have for systems.

Currently doesn't show my turntable.  It will be reintroduced this week with the removal of my Belkin power center.  Going to a PS Audio Quintet strip style.  Loving the Ultravalve when it glows away on top. :)

Nice setup Wayner, but I think you're a little short on turntables  :duh:
Question:You run the ultravalve in that tight space?

Thought it would be fun to see what fellow AVAers have for systems.

There is 3" of space above the tallest tube. I moved it there to get it off the floor and checked several days, monitoring heat and all is well. Thanks for noticing. It is open to the back and sides, so there is plenty of air around it.

All my equipment is in an adjoining room, the Insight 440 and surround amps are on the floor underneath the cabinet.

The box on the far left is the power supply for the harman/kardon table.

Yep. Made from Pennsylvania purple slate with green swirls through it. The only mistake I made was not getting bigger all thread. It is solid as a rock, seriously, rap your knuckles on it or bump your knee into it and OUCH.

My apologies though as I don't currently own any AVA gear and posted the pic before realizing which circle this is.

No big deal. I enjoyed your post.

I actually have 6 working right now. One in the garage for the summer, one in the photo is out of the len's reach (that is my Empire).

Why do I have so many turntables? I like to know what makes them tic. The one in the middle that I call ARMod was built from 3 different turntables plus a custom made plinth. It has the Rega RB300 arm, an Acoustic Research platter and bearing and a VPI motor. It's very quiet amd exciting to listen to. I try to cycle thru them every once in a while.

Wayner's multiple turntables are for those rare movie soundtracks released on discreet 6-channel monophonic vinyl.  Although it's challenging to get them all synced up.  But even if you don't use them for surround they come in handy for when you've got a huge colletion of music and not enough time to enjoy it all.  You can listen to more than one album at a time!  Efficient!   :thumb:
