My originally intentions was to open a local public showroom the beginning of this year. Obviously, we obtained a good inventory for displays prior to opening.
Now with so many custom modification ventures and contracts, we will not be able to open this showroom to the local public for a while. No, I am not closing the doors just need the room. With that said, we have a lot of equipment around that is taking up much needed space and would like to move some of this stuff to make room and further capital for more modification ventures.
I WILL continue to be a dealer for all the products that I have been working with over the years but do not need much of the display equipment I now have.

I have a lot of equipment available from the following:

Usher Audio speakers and all wood stands
Usher Reference 6 channel Class A amp with preamp
 Usher Digital/DTS procesor and cables
Various Jolida products including the new JD707A, JD402 tube tuner.
Music Hall CD players, Music Hall turntables (NIB), Creek Phono stages
A few Dynaco vintage products- A25 speakers and FM5 tuner
 Audio Note components and speakers
Various used components from ASL, Jolida and more.
Castle Acoustics Durham 3 - YEW veneer
 LOTS MORE!!!

Below are a few PICs of one of the racks setup showing only a small portion of what is available. The link below this picture will take you to the "Showroom" page of my site where you can see a few more setups. Most all of this gear will still come with warranty and all prices I quote will include shipping.

Please let me know what if there is something you may be interested in.

Forgot to mention. I am always willing to entertain tube amp and preamp trade-ins and always interested in:
 Jolida
 ASL
 Decware
 Audio Note
 Consonance
 Whatever??

Also, below is a picture of Jolida's new JD707A

Whew!  You scared the heck out of me.  It's good to hear that you are only closing your demo room.  After owning and listening (extensively) to your RAM Modded CD Player, I can understand why you would want to devote more of your energy to the modding side of the business.  The RAM player is absolutely stunning.  The Music Hall 25 was an excellent choice to use as a "base" for the mods.  It's built like a tank and very cool looking.  It may be one of the best purchases (certainly the best CD player purchase) I have made, period.

If any AC members haven't had the pleasure to deal with Bill Baker, I encourage you to give him a call.  He is a really good guy who will not steer you wrong.  Truth be told, although I purchased my RAM player used (from a guy who is primarily a vinyl listener), Bill has given me service that has been as good as any manufacturer has given me for a product I purchased NEW.  He offered to send dampening material and offered to have it checked out  when my system was making a noise (which was MY fault because I accidentally plugged my subwoofer output - versus input!- into my preamp).  I thought it was the CD player but it was my fault all along.

I was going to sell the RAM CD player (and all of my other gear for that matter) because of financial concerns (nothing major).  The decision to sell it was made before I actually listened to it.   After living with it for a short time, I couldn't get myself to sell.  Some of my older guitars and my '69 VW convertible will have to go!  But the RAM stays!

Thanks Bill!

Jack

PS - After spending some time with the RAM player, I have total confidence in Bill's knowlege of good sound.   He's an honest guy who runs an honest business and knows his stuff.  Best of luck!

Used or new,
looking for something a bit on the cheap...

Please email me with choices...

I have an old (1987) Philips CD player
16 bit 4 times oversampling:

Maybe a DAC would do?

Thanks,

biz

Hmmmm... on the cheap?
The only thing I have available is the Audio Note CDT and DAC combo and maybe a Music Hall CD25. I don't know what you mean by "cheap" but let me know your budget either here or in a PM and I will see if it can be accomidated.

Have no fear rosconey,
You have first dibs on a stock CD 25 if I have one available. I think biz is looking at something different.

Bill,

I'm also looking for a good CD player.  Do you accept trades of other audio equipment?  I've got some vintage Yamaha gear, an Integrated amp, Turntable, Tuner, Cassette Player, Rotel 932 integrated amp.  What's the best way to get hold of you?

Marty

Last chance on the Audio Note ZERO gear. They have discontinued selling the ZERO products in the US and rather than holding on to these components, I have decided to send what I have (minus a few pieces I will keep for testing purposes) back to the UK.
Any interest in these products should act fast as it will only be around a few more days. Whats available??
  CD transport
  DAC
  P-ZERO 8 watt mono blocs

I am keeping the speakers and remote preamp for myself.

Hi Everybody,
A lot of the stuff we had availabe is gone. There are only a few more pieces left at demo prices:
 Usher CP-7388 loudspeakers in Wlanut
 Usher X-708 loudspeakers
Usher Reference 6 channel Class "A" amp
 Usher P-303 stereo preamp
     (Yes, solid state, I know)
Usher X-729 solid wood speaker stands with solid granit base.

No tube amps left other than a used ASL MG-SI15 with Theta AudioCaps and your choice of Svetlana KT88 or Ei KT90 power tubes.

Audio Note stuff will not be discounted. We are holding on to this equipment while we work out a contract to release further upgraded version of the ZERO line. Audio Note speakers are staying for testing and evaluation of SET and other tube amp modifications.

  NOT for discounted sale:
  USHER audio racks
  NIB Usher digital/dts processors
  NIB Music Hall CD25
  NIB Music Hall MMF-2.1 table
Audio Note TT-1 Table (Not for sale)
New imported vacuum tube phono preamp
