Does anyone have any experience with this battery powered tube linestage kit. The kit sells for $695 and appeared very well made on there website. Seems to be another contender in the preamp sub $1000 category.

I can't answer your question directly 'cause I haven't heard it, but I have used the predecessor Welborne preamp, the Reveille, and other Welborne equipment, for a number of years and have found it uniformly first-rate.  If the Ultra Path is good enough to replace the Reveille, I'd bet it's one heck of a preamp.
