Good news for records, Jack White's new label, Third Man Records, releases everything on vinyl. His record company's slogan is "Your Turntable's Not Dead." Third Man hasn't released a single CD and has no plans to do so. All 36 singles or albums so far have come out only on digital download or vinyl.

I caught the broadcast of this on the way home today and really enjoyed it! It was great to hear mainstream media talk about analog tape recording and vinyl in an objective manner.

Yes, I own everything released by Thirdman Recordswww.thirdmanrecords.com , other than some of the really limited edition colored vinyl that must be bought at his nashville store in person(or fle-bay at a $300 premium).  Also a member of his "vault" http://modlife.com/thevault
service that sends out vinyl quarterly.
