Anyone with an Ipad tried any of the apps/hardware gizmos to turn the Ipad into an infrared remote?

I want to do so (need learning capabilities as I'm sure all of my equipment's codes won't be in the usual databases), but wondered if anyone had any experience/advice to date?

I'm not sure; I just scrolled thru the apps store on the Ipad last night and it looked like some were in the market, even with some 'feedback' of sorts on the apps store menu.

There's nothing to exciting in this front that i've found yet...

This interests me but all the apps that control it so far mimic remotes
