FS: NIB Musical Paradise MP-301 SE 6v6 sold

For sale is my musical paradise MP-301 single-ended 6v6 4.5w amp. Got this in December, box has never been opened. $180 shiping in lower 48 included, and no paypal fee to the buyer.

I had an identical amp to this one that I was burning in for a friend, and it was far better than the Miniwatt in every way. This is built extremely well, even at it's price point, is all point-to-point wired, has some very nice components, and is also a headphone amp. Sounds quite good stock (after burn-in) but rolling tubes take things up several notches.

Did you get to compare this to Miniwatt in your system, Jim? I had not heard of this amp.

Yes, both with the tonians and everything else equal.

Just think the sound was a bit more balanced overall and the MP was a lot quieter. MP was stock and MW had the early cap mod and upgraded tubes.

Still, at this price point the transformers are going to be the biggest limiting factor with either of these amps. For their price though, they do a very nice job.
