I bought this cartridge a few months ago from an unscrupulous seller on Ebay, who told me that it is practically new, with less than 10hrs on it. By now we all know what this means. I was waiting for it to break in, instead it continued to mistrack. Stylus was examined and it was determined that it was actually cut wrong - radius is too wide. Since warranty is long over, Shelter can do nothing about it. So I'm selling it as is, a great candidate for a retip (Soundsmith comes to mind right away). Other than described issue, it is in mint shape, zero scratches, strong suspension, and it actually plays and sounds very good on non-demanding records. Most of distortion shows-up on inner grooves or on heavily modulated passages and sibilants. I read a lot of postings about Shelters being poor trackers, so I guess it may not be as bad as I think it is, especially in a heavy arm like Dynavector or something... Make me an offer.
